NotesInspiration and Imagination is part of my writing process. When I write my poetry, the words just pour out and it’s usually out of order. I make draft after draft, until the idea and the feelings of the idea are conveyed.

LEAPS & BOUNDS
It’s funny how we’ve jumped leaps and bounds
and landed on a spot that we can call “common ground”.
But it’s even crazier how we’ve flown past the many layers of the atmosphere
to make this space ours.
Hours, towers, and flowers
can’t reach us.
Trust, Dusk, and Lust
is inexplicably ours.
Our love is like:
Warmth in it’s coolest form,
The sun in it’s darkest moments,
Hate exhibited in the most humorous manner,
and sadness prolonged into the longest of hours.
Leaps and Bounds
I have flown to you,
Emotions I have discovered through you.
I’m Glad to have met you.
